Preschool Davis Memorial offers preschool classes for 3 and 4 year olds regardless of their race or religious affiliation. Davis Memorial Christian Church Preschool believes that each child is an unique gift of God. Because of this uniqueness, each child brings to our school his or her special gifts. DMCC Preschool is committed to providing opportunities through a variety of developmentally appropriate activities that will enhance their readiness skills and encourage a positive self concept. Since 1979, DMCC Preschool has been licensed and continues to meet all the standards required by the State of Illinois. Three Year Old Classes Meet Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. (September through May) Four Year Old Classes meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m. (September through May) After devoting more than 50 years of service to the preschool, Lana Hixenbaugh and Jane Hempen retired. We are grateful for their many years of service to the youth of Taylorville.
